Yes, the software is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Note that for activation administrator rights are necessary.
With activated User Account Control (UAC) on Vista you have to run the software for activation for one time "as administrator".
What does the message "Please select only similar types of folders for this function."?
This message is shown if you have selected diverse folders und e.g. try to invoke a duplicate search.
Duplicate search can only be performed on folders of the similar type. Otherweise calendar entries would be compared to emails - which would be like comparing apples to oranges.
An example for an incorrect selection:
The root-node "Postfach - Andreas Schultz" should not be activated (checked with a mark), because it is an email folder. Calendar entries cannot be compares to emails.

The canonical format, e.g. +49 (521) 2997 - 190, is most suitable and default in the basic settings of Outlook Tools.
You do not need to set up a user-defined format.
Note: Most common reason for failed dial attempts is that the phone number contains the international prefix, the country code and the national prefix.
For example: +49 (0521) 2997-190 cannot be dialled correctly, because the national prefix has to be omitted in the international notation.
